This half-day course provides a basic overview of the concepts behind the Semantic Web. As well as looking to the future of the Web, this course focusses on the application of those elements of Semantic Web technology which it is practical to implement and make use of today; and on how these technologies can improve the current Web experience for users. The course is non-technical in content and suitable for XML developers; content creators; and managerial users seeking to get a broad overview of this rapidly developing aspect of the Web.
